Meet Keller Chiropractor: Dr. David Kinnison

"Asthma? What Asthma?"

At first, I thought my mom was talking about someone else. It was May 2003, I was 35 years old and she informed me that I was severely asthmatic when I was only 1 year old. This was news to me, as I do not recall having breathing issues.

Obviously that was not the reason I became a Chiropractor, but made me realize the what Chiropractic has to offer. See, my father is a Chiropractor and was a student at the time I had asthma. I remember whenever I was not feeling well, I got "adjusted", sometimes 2-3 times a day. I only recall being sick several times when I was young, and looking back, I contribute my good health to Chiropractic. This made me even more passionate about helping others have the same healthy lifestyle I have had.

My Chiropractic Education

I graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in May 2001 with my brother Boyce. It was incredible having my father, brother and myself on stage receiving our diplomas. During his three years at Parker College, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Parker College Public Clinic.

I have been married to Laura for 14 years and we have two beautiful daughters Sarah and Rebecca. We are a very active family. Dr. Kinnison and Sarah have competed in TaeKwonDo for the past two years and Dr. Kinnison is the 2010 sparring state champion for Texas 40-49 year old men's color belt. Dr. Kinnison also enjoys playing indoor soccer with Laura, golf and just about any other outdoor activity.

“Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.”

Dr. Kinnison Asks some important questions of interest to Keller residents - Chiropractor Keller Dr. Kinnison Asks...

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Keller chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
